 OUR SERVICES
 
 1 to 1 facilitation for residents where those living in the bungalow will receive 2 facilitators (because of 2 shifts) to help them with whatever activities they want to carry out or in which they wish to be involved.
 
 Regular sessions of Assistive Technology Training provided by David Morris, a registered Independent Speech and Language Therapist who is a specialist in Neurology , the assessment and use of Augmentative, Alternative Communication and assistive technology for using computers.
 
 2 sessions of Physiotherapy per week provided by a registered Independent Physiotherapist who is a specialist in Neurology.
 
 1 session of Occupational Therapy per month provided by a registered Independent Occupational Therapist who is a specialist in Neurology and seating.
 
 Planning permission received for a hydrotherapy pool on-site so that residents will be able to enjoy hydrotherapy sessions whenever they wish as well as having some sessions timetabled during the day.
 
 Independent Living Skills Training teaching the value of money, telling the time, going shopping, taking control of their own lives, deciding what to do with their free time, carrying out household duties and deciding what to eat and how to cook it.
 
 Certificated Courses in Independent Living such as those offered by ASDAN (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network)
 
Computer Skills where residents will learn the basics about computer hardware, software and peripheral devices and the principles of at least two commercial applications.
 
 Learning in an everyday situation since residents will be responsible for their day-to-day living arrangements and taking control of their own lives.
 
 Opportunities to go to shops, cinemas or restaurants locally and visits further afield.
 
 Assisting residents to get home and back to The Bungalow four times per year.
