Enlarging your mouse pointer in Windows

1. Open the Start menu by clicking on the Start button or by pressing the Windows logo key (located between the Ctrl and Alt keys) - or Ctrl + Esc 2. Click on Control Panel or press the letter C on the keyboard. 3. Double click on Mouse or press the M key repeatedly until Mouse is highlighted and then press Enter. 4. Click on the Pointer tab or press Control + Tab until the Pointer tab is at the front. 5. Underneath Scheme is a drop down box which contains predefined sets of mouse pointers you can use. Click on this box, or press Tab until the scheme drop down box is highlighted, and the list appears. 6. Use the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard to move through the list. As you do so, you will see the pictures changing to reflect the scheme that is highlighted at the time. Some of these sets are labelled as Large, Extra Large or Inverted schemes - these are the ones you should try first. 7. To choose a scheme either click on it or if it is already highlighted press the Enter key on the keyboard. 8. Click OK or press Enter to exit the mouse properties.
Adding Pointer Trails to Your Mouse in Windows XP
To activate pointer trails: 1. Open the Start menu by clicking on the Start button or by pressing the Windows logo key (located between the Ctrl and Alt keys) - or Ctrl + Esc 2. Click on Control Panel or press the letter C on the keyboard. 3.Double click on Mouse or press the M key repeatedly until Mouse is highlighted and then press Enter. 4. Click on the Pointer Options tab or press Control + Tab until the Pointer Options tab is at the front. 5.Click the checkbox that says Display pointer trails or press Alt + D on the keyboard. 6. To adjust the size of the pointer trails, either drag the slider underneath Display pointer trails or press Tab until the slider bar is highlighted and then use the left and right arrow keys to adjust the pointer speed. 7. Click OK or press Enter to confirm your choice and exit the mouse properties. You should now find that your mouse pointer has trails.
Locating Your Pointer in Windows XP

3. Double click on Mouse or press the M key repeatedly until Mouse
is highlighted and then press Enter.
4. The mouse properties page should be displayed
5. Click on the Pointer Options tab or press
Control + Tab until the Pointer Options tab is at the front.
6. Click the checkbox marked Show location of pointer when I press
the CTRL key or press Alt + S on the keyboard which puts a tick
in the box.
7. Click OK or press Enter to confirm your choice and exit the mouse properties. Now when you can't find the mouse pointer, pressing CTRL on the keyboard will give you a visual clue by surrounding the pointer with circles.
8. To choose a scheme either click on it
or if it is already highlighted press the Enter key on the keyboard.
9. Click OK or press Enter to exit the mouse properties.
